Went to Orlando on my first ever big girl trip, i.e. all planning and expenses taken care of on my own. Needless to say this was my favorite vacation so far, can’t wait to see what other places I end up visiting later in life :) And to top it all off it’s our 5 months <3

Just over 2 months til graduation, time to live it up! Hurray for becoming an adult!

Tech doesn’t need this. It doesn’t need any more publicity based on threats, campus safety, guns, etc. What is not stressed is how safe we feel here. How much more there is to Tech than all of this. How campus safety is RARELY an issue, if an issue at all.

…here at Tech, in good old Blacksburg, I don’t feel nervous at all. There is so much more to Virginia Tech than what the news has described, and I hope both parents and prospective, future Hokies take time to notice how rewarding the spirit and heart of Virginia Tech truly is. I Love this school, and nothing will change how incredibly proud I am to be a Hokie.

Preach. Thank you Hokies, for being my family. I feel safer there than I do in my own home where I was raised. I hope people outside the VT community can feel that power and understand how we feel.
